A playful culinary collaboration is turning heads in Singapore as halal Taiwanese cafe Wong Fu Fu joins forces with the mischievous Crayon Shinchan for a limited-time pop-up experience. Launching on June 19, 2025, this two-month event transforms the eatery into a vibrant playground featuring themed decor, exclusive merchandise, and an inventive menu that playfully incorporates the anime character’s cheeky personality.

The showstopper of this collaboration is Singapore’s largest matcha latte—a five-litre behemoth that challenges even the most enthusiastic drinkers. Available in two varieties, the Matcha Latte and Strawberry Matcha, these oversized beverages showcase premium Niko Neko matcha powder, delivering a balanced flavor without bitterness. For those preferring more manageable portions, regular-sized drinks come in adorable Shinchan-themed mugs, complete with whipped cream toppings.

Beyond beverages, the menu offers creative takes on Taiwanese and Japanese-inspired dishes. Highlights include crispy Tater Tots with sweet mochi balls, served in collectible Shinchan Chocobi boxes, and a Japanese Seafood Curry Rice featuring a playful Shinchan-shaped rice portion. The Signature Mini Bowls provide a sampler of three dishes, with the Golden Fried Mid-Wings emerging as a surprising crowd favorite. Dessert lovers won’t want to miss the cheeky Piak! Piak! Shinchan Butt Parfait—a jiggly custard pudding atop strawberry cream cake.

Guests should note the pop-up requires a minimum spend of S$20 per person, with a 10% service charge applied. Children must order either a kid’s meal or snack. Running until August 2025, this whimsical collaboration promises a fun-filled dining experience for fans of Crayon Shinchan and matcha enthusiasts alike.
